Monitoring the DSU/CSU

System LEDs
OK:
ON – DSU/CSU is operational.
OFF – DSU/CSU is performing a power-up self-test, has detected a
system failure, or there is no power.
FAIL:
ON – DSU/CSU has detected a system or device failure, or
is performing a power-up self-test. Refer to
Troubleshooting in Chapter 8.
TEST:
ON – Test in progress. Test can be initiated locally, remotely,
or from the network. Includes power-up self-test.
