If the Skip configuration flag is set successfully, the following message appears:
Flag Set Success.

When the EXTEND-BOOTWARE menu appears again, enter 1 to run the system software image.
The device starts up with empty configuration.

To run the original next-startup configuration file, perform a configuration rollback in system view.
Skip this step if you want to use empty configuration.

Configure a new console login password.
This example uses the password authentication mode and the authentication password 123456.
For security purposes, the password is always saved in ciphertext, regardless of whether you
specify the simple keyword or cipher keyword for the set authentication password command.
[H3C] user-interface console 0
[H3C-ui-console0] authentication-mode password
[H3C-ui-console0] set authentication password simple 123456
[H3C-ui-console0] quit

To make the settings take effect after a reboot, save the running configuration to the next-startup
configuration file.
