Configuring MLD SSM mapping
Due to some possible restrictions, some receiver hosts on an SSM network might run MLDv1. To provide
SSM service support for these receiver hosts, you need to configure the MLD SSM mapping feature on the
last hop router.
Before you configure the MLD SSM mapping feature, complete the following tasks:
•
Enable IPv6 forwarding and configure an IPv6 unicast routing protocol so that all devices in the
domain can be interoperable at the network layer.
