IP (#) / Mask
The Host Access List sets which remote clients can connect when the Access List is Enabled.
Each entry sets an IP address and a subnet mask to define a unique class of machines that are allowed
access.
For example, to give access rights to a PC that has an IP Address of 10.10.10.1 and to any PC on a subnet
of 192.168.10.xxx, then the Access List is defined as:
IP 1 / Mask: 10.10.10.1/32
IP 2 / Mask: 192.168.10.0/24
An IP address of 0.0.0.0 means the Access List is not defined or is not applicable.
Access List:
Use the Access List to give access rights via HTTP and SNMP to a set list of client machines. From the
drop-down list, select Enable or Disable.
CAUTION
If the Access List is Disabled, then any client machine can connect via HTTP and
SNMP.
When ready, click Submit Access to save and activate these changes.
CAUTION
If you do not save these parameter changes to permanent storage, they will be lost
when the unit is reset or loses power. To save these changes to permanent storage,
go to the Admin | Save page and click Save PaP Parameters.
