9.2.2.1.7 Telnet Timeout
On the Administration screen, type T for the Telnet Timeout parameter:
Telnet timeout sets the maximum number of minutes of Telnet inactivity before the Telnet session is
automatically ended by the demodulator. The range is 1 through 60 minutes.
The demodulator does not allow concurrent access to the menu via Telnet and the console port. If you
connect via Telnet, the demodulator automatically disables the console port for the duration of the Telnet
session. Also, the demodulator automatically ends a Telnet session after the period of inactivity set with
this parameter.
9.2.2.2 Interface Configuration screen
Go to the Interface Configuration screen from the Main Menu.
Ethernet Interface, keystroke: E
• Opens Ethernet Interface screen.
Satellite/HDLC Interface, keystroke: H
• Opens Satellite/HDLC Interface screen.
