• Set this option to [Enabled] or [Disabled] for each Rx Channel:
o [Enabled] – enables Header Decompression
o [Disabled] – disables Header Decompression
• When Enabled, the system expects received streams to be Header-compressed.
• Note: A CDM-IP modem (or demodulator) must receive all streams as compressed, or as not
compressed. The unit cannot distinguish between the two types.
Rx Payload Decompression, keystroke: C
• Switches between [Enabled] or [Disabled]:
• Causes a unit receiving a stream of data that has been payload compressed to be correctly
uncompressed. This option is auto-sensed by a bit carried in packet headers.
FAST Feature Code 1 or 2, keystroke: 1 or 2
• Allows entry of a FAST Option Purchase Access Code; purchase a specific option/upgrade to
receive an applicable code from the Comtech EF Data Sales Representative.
Vipersat Feature Codes, keystroke: F
• Allows user to enter a Vipersat features activation code that has been provided by Comtech
Vipersat for modems (or demodulators) configured to operate under VMS control.

LAN-to-LAN Routing, keystroke: B
• When LAN-to-LAN Routing is enabled, packets ingress from LAN can be routed (egress) to the
LAN port instead of sending the ICMP redirect message. If selected, this prompt shows:
o “Configuring LAN-to-LAN Routing disables the ICMP redirect Messages. Do you want
to continue(Y/N)[Enter :No]”
