Codecast Multicast Address, keystroke: M
• Configures the IP Multicast Address for the Codecast protocol.
o
Format aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
o
Range for aaa: 224 through 239
• The IP Module can install the firmware updates on multiple units using the Codecast protocol.
This makes upgrading units easier in bigger networks.
PARAM Image, keystroke: C
• Identifies the PARAM file that is loaded on bootup.
o
1=Factory – Uses the internal, hard-coded factory default parameters.
o
2=PARAM – Last saved Parameter file.
Statistics, keystroke: T
• Opens the Statistics Menu.
• See Section 9.2.2.7.2.
Event Log, keystroke: E
• Opens the Event Log screen.
• See Section 9.2.2.7.3.
Database Operations, keystroke: D
• Opens the administrative Database Operations screen.
• See Section 9.2.2.7.4.
Reset, keystroke: R
• Reboots the Unit. This has the same effect as stopping and starting power for the unit.
Diagnostics, keystroke: G
• Opens the Diagnostics screen.
• See Section 9.2.2.7.5.
M&C Interface, keystroke: F
• Gives you access to the demodulator’s available remote commands and queries.
• Once the M&C Interface is selected, a Controller-to-Target remote command or query takes this
form at the ‘#’ prompt:

Start of Packet ‘<’
o
Address Delimiter ‘/’
o
Target Address (1-4 characters, 0001 – 0004)
o
3-character Instruction Code (e.g., RFQ)
o
Instruction Code Qualifier – Command ‘=’ or Query ‘?’
