• The DM/Red Traffic MAC Address sets the hardware destination MAC Address that is used
when DM/Redundancy is enabled. This address is unique, and is assigned permanently at the
factory.
DM/Red Traffic IP Addr, keystroke: L
• You can configure this only when either Dedicated Management Port or Redundancy is enabled.
Otherwise, Traffic IP and Management IP addresses are the same.
• This is the IP Address assigned to the DM/Red Traffic.

DM/Red Traffic Subnet Prefix, keystroke: B
• Specifies the Subnet Mask assigned to the DM/Red Traffic

Enter the subnet mask prefix length (valid range is from 8 to 30).
Traffic Port Actual Speed, keystroke: none, read-only
• Shows the Traffic Port status: actual speed, whether the link is up or down
Dedicated Management Port, keystroke: D
• Switches between [Disabled] or [Enabled]
• When Dedicated Management Port is enabled, the M&C Ethernet Port is activated.
Web/SNMP/FTP upgrades will operate only through the M&C port.
• This is available only in CDD-564A compatibility mode. See Section 9.2.2.6.5.

Satellite/HDLC Interface screen
Go to the Satellite/HDLC Interface screen from the Interface Configuration screen.
HDLC Addr Mode, keystroke: none, read-only
• Point-To-Point Mode – In this mode, no HDLC address is used over the satellite link. It can only
be used for pure Point-to-Point configurations.
• Small Network Mode (up to 254 addresses) - In this mode, the demodulator expects a single-byte
HDLC address over the satellite link (0x1 – 0xFE).
• Large Network Mode (up to 32766 addresses) - In this mode, the demodulator expects a two-byte
HDLC address over the satellite link (0x1 – 0xFFFE).
