ODM/R-840 Connectors Panel – Standard Features
The ODM/R‐840 provides the following standard interfaces:
Data Interfaces:
• ‘ETHERNET|T/M’ port – (1X) 10/100/1000 BaseT Gigabit Ethernet RJ‐45 Interface for
Ethernet traffic as well as remote product management and control purposes (HTTP/Web
and SNMP).
• ‘CONSOLE/REDUNDANCY’ port – (1X) EIA‐232 19‐pin connector serial remote product
management or, for the ODM‐840 only, 1:1 redundant control when two ODM‐840 units
are connected to an optional Comtech EF Data 1:1 Redundancy Switch.
IF Interfaces:
• (2X) Type ‘N’ female connectors for 50Ω L‐Band (950 to 2150 MHz).
Power Interface:
• ODM‐840: 100–240 VAC Primary Input Power Supply (no heater, no Block Up Converter
(BUC) Power Supply).
• ODMR‐840: 24 VDC Primary Input/+5, ±12, and ±24/48 VDC Output from ODMR‐PS
Power Supply (no heater).

ODM-840 Connectors Panel – Optional Features
The ODM‐840 provides the following Data Interfaces for optional FAST‐enabled operation:
• (Not available on the ODMR‐840.) (2X) Type ‘BNC’ female connectors labeled
‘G.703|IN/OUT’ are provided for operation of the optional G.703 E1 Interface/RAN
Optimization Hardware/FAST Feature upgrade.
The following Power Interface options are available for the ODM‐840:
• 100‐240 VAC 90W @ 50°C BUC Power Supply
• 100‐240 VAC w/48 VDC 150W @ 50°C BUC Power Supply
• 48 VDC (no BUC Power Supply)
• 48 VDC w/24 VDC 90W @ 50°C BUC Power Supply
• 48 VDC w/48 VDC 150W @ 50°C BUC Power Supply
