4. Remove the filler bracket.
5. Slide the serial port adapter bracket down over the card slot opening, and lower the retention arm, securing the
bracket.
6. Remove the processor heat sink as explained in " Processor ."
7. Route the serial adapter cable over the card cage, and attach the cable to the connector on the system board (labeled
SER_PS2 ).
8. Reinstall the processor heat sink as explained in " Processor ."
