Compress database

Menu item "File, Compress"

You should compress the database from time to time. Before
compressing, the database is copied and a database with the
extension *.mvd.Old is created. If there are any problems on
compressing, you may rename this copy to *.mvd.

You can also monitor the compressing interval of the data-
base, see page 94.

Repair database

Menu item "File, Repair"

If you can't open a database or there are unusual error mes-
sages, you can try to repair the database.
