6 Devices
The «IC Net» program supports remote control for Metrohm and
Bischoff instruments. Each instrument within a system is a de-
vice. Devices are stored as device files (
*.dev
) in the
Devices
di-
rectory. All Metrohm devices start with Me*.dev and all Bischoff
devices start with Bi*.dev .
6.1 Device installation
6.1.1 Install devices at system creation
IC NET / File / New / System
The New system wizard window and a new SYSTEM window are
opened. The New system wizard guides you trough the installation
routine step-by-step to build a new system. The next step of the
system installation is reached with , the previous step with
and the installation is completed with .
The first step of the system installation is to enter a name for a
new system folder within the «IC Net» program path
...\ICNet\Systems . For every instrument combination, a new folder
should be created.
After clicking on , the window for addition of interfaces to
the toolbar appears (details see section 4.1.1).
After clicking on
, the window for addition of devices to the
system window appears.
