The PHY Line Loop test runs from an external device transmitting to
the switch, and loops signal back through the physical layer, as
illustrated in Figure 2-4.

OAM F5 EndtoEnd Loop Test
The OAM F5 EndtoEnd Loop tests line integrity through the entire
connection, as illustrated in Figure 2-5.
