Application Icons
The Application menu provides quick access to the items you
use most frequently.
The following table contains a description of each
application. If the application is already described in another
section of this user manual, then a cross reference to that
particular section is provided.
Ⅲ From the Home screen, tap Apps, then tap one of
the following application icons and follow the
on-screen instructions.
New Voicemail: You have new voicemail. A number
indicates the number of new messages.
New Email Message: You have new email.
Silent mode: All sounds except media and alarms are
silenced, and Vibrate is not active. See “Sound
profiles” on page 139.
Vibrate: All sounds are silenced, and Vibrate is active.
See “Device vibration” on page 141.
SD Card Ready: A memory card scan is underway to
prepare the card for use.
SD Card Removed: A memory card was uninstalled.
Bluetooth Active: Bluetooth is turned on.
Bluetooth Connected: Your device is connected with
another Bluetooth device.
Wi-Fi Active: Wi-Fi is active and connected to a Wi-Fi
network.
Wi-Fi Action Needed: Action needed to connect to Wi-
Fi network. For more information about configuring
Wi-Fi, see “Wi-Fi Settings” on page 129.
4G Mobile Hotspot: Create your own Wi-Fi connection
to share with other devices.
AllShare Play: Share your favorite videos, photos, and
music across your connected devices (Smart TV™,
laptop, tablet, or Smart Phone). For more information,
refer to “AllShare Play” on page 90..
