Role Name
The DNS name or IP address for the
target Neoview platform. This is a

The Connect dialog box provides these buttons that allow you to test your connection, connect
to a system, and cancel.
Description
Button
Tests the connection to NDCS.
[Test]
Connects to the Neoview platform and the workload filter
dimensions in the Triage Space. If Fetch Timeline
Information
is enabled in Tools>Options, NPA starts
downloading information to populate and build up the
Timeline Controller and the individual system and
workload graphs.
[OK]
Discards changes and closes the Connect dialog box.
[Cancel]
Additionally, after a successful connection is established to the Neoview platform, the toolbar
icons for Connect, Disconnect, and Reconnect are enabled and their icons are changed according
to the state. In the disconnected state, Connect shows a “plug/connect” icon. When connected,
NPA shows a connected power plug:
You can adjust the timeout settings for ODBC sessions through the Tools>Options menu bar.
