[Add]

at the bottom of the screen and the plus sign icon on the toolbar are always enabled

and launch the Add Admin Role dialog box that lets you add a new admin role.

[Delete]

at the bottom of the screen and the delete icon on the toolbar are enabled if one or

more rows are selected in the data grid and allow you to delete the selected admin roles.
The system-created admin roles (ROLE.DBA, SUPER.SUPER and SUPER.SERVICES) cannot
be deleted and if one of these roles is in the selected list, they will be ignored and an
informational message will be displayed.

The Save Neoview WMS Configuration (save icon) exports the entire WMS configuration
into a script as WMS commands which can be executed using a command interface.

Shortcut menu (right click) for the Admin Roles folder node:
Refresh – Refreshes the admin role list in the tree and in the right summary pane.
Add Admin Role – Launches the Add Admin Role dialog

Add Admin Role

To add an admin role, on the Admin Roles Summary screen, click [Add] or the plus sign icon
on the toolbar. You can also right click on the Admin Roles tree node and choose the Add Admin
Role

menu.

This launches the Add Admin Role dialog box. Enter a valid role name and click [Add] to add
the role name to the Admin Roles list.

Delete Admin Role

On the Admin Roles Summary screen, you can delete an admin role by one of these methods:

Select the Admin Role to delete in the data grid and click [Delete] or the delete icon on the
toolbar.

Select the Admin Role to delete in the configuration tree and right click and select the Delete
menu. The Delete menu is disabled for system-created admin roles, because they cannot be
deleted.

A confirmation dialog is displayed requesting you to confirm the delete operation.

Save/Export WMS Configuration

You can export the current WMS configuration and save it to a file as a series of WMS commands.
This command file can then be executed using Neoview Command Interface on a different
system, if you want to replicate the same WMS configuration on this new system.

TIP:

Always export the WMS configuration to a dated file before making any changes to a

WMS configuration, especially PRODUCTION.

You can launch the Export WMS Configuration by:

Right click on the System tree node and select the Export Configuration menu.

In the Services Summary screen, click on the save disk icon.

In the Rules Summary screen, click on the save disk icon.
