Description
Metric
The amount of time for which a query ran (or is running). This is the
time since the start of the query until the current time for running queries
or a difference of the start and end times for completed queries. Display
format is hh:mm:ss (hour, minute, and seconds).
Elapsed Time
Indicates how long a query waited before it started execution (time from
entry into the system until the time the query actually started its
execution).
Wait Time
Time when the query compilation started (or when PREPARE for this
query).
Compilation Start Time
Time when the query compilation ended (or when PREPARE for this
query).
Compilation End Time
Time when the query started running (or executing).
Execution Start Time
Time when the query completed executing.
Execution End Time
The amount of time used by Neoview SQL to execute the query.
Query Elapsed Time
Total amount of processor (CPU) time utilized by the query. Display
format is hh:mm:ss (hour, minute, and seconds).
Total Processor Time
Total amount of processor (CPU) time utilized by the query in the last
interval. Display format is hh:mm:ss (hour, minute, and seconds). This
is the value from the previous refresh interval.
Last Interval Processor Time
Total amount of processor (CPU) time in microseconds utilized by the
query. This information is the same as the total processor time but uses
a different display format.
Total Processor Time Microseconds
Time when the query information was last updated in WMS queues.
Last Updated
Indicates how long a query was in a hold state.
Hold Time
Rate-Based Metrics
Rate-based metrics indicate the rate of consumption of resources or rate of counters since the
previous time interval, which is the difference between the samples of the last 2 intervals
(current – previous)
. Depending on the version of the platform to which you are connected,
the information displayed will vary. This list provides a short description for the metrics:

Indicates the rate of rows being retrieved from the system. Because
Neoview SQL uses data-flow architecture, this counter depends on
the time and processing it requires to flow up a single row of results
back to the ROOT level operator.
Rows/Second
Indicates the amount of processor (CPU) cycles the query is consuming
(rate of the processor usage).
Processor Usage/Second
Indicates the difference between the current and previous sample of
the processor (CPU) utilization.
Delta Processor Time
Indicates the difference (current – previous interval samples) in
the amount of megabytes (MB) of memory allocated by all the processes
involved with the query.
Delta Space Alloc MB
Indicates the difference (current – previous interval samples) in
the amount of megabytes (MB) of memory used by all the processes
involved with the query.
Delta Space Used MB
Indicates the difference (current – previous interval samples) in
the number of disk reads performed by all the processes involved with
the query.
