2.3 Installing the 1314i in a 19” rack
When installing the 1314i in a 19” systems rack.
Place the Gas Monitor on a Shelve or support it by using Slide Rails.
Secure the Front frame to the 19” section with appropriate screws.
2.4 Setting the USB Communication Parameters
The LumaSoft Gas 7810 application with USB communication is able
to communicate with the 1314i gas monitor through a USB cable.
No setup on the 1314i gas monitor is necessary in order to be able to
communicate with the 1314i gas monitor through an USB connection.
2.5 Setting the RS-232 Communication Parameters
2.5.1
Default RS-232 Communication Parameters
The default RS232 communication parameters are shown in the table
below.

Performing a full reset will set all parameters to the default settings.

Parameters
The communication parameters for the serial interface must be set
using the push-buttons on the front of the monitor.
