VARIABLE BACKLIGHT
Function Enables or disables the LCD backlight to come on
when a button is pressed or the display text
changes. If enabled, the backlight stays on for 3
seconds.
Explicit Form VARIABLE BACKLIGHT on/off/?
Implicit Form V BACKLIGHT on/off/?
Parameters
status ON
enables LCD backlight; OFF
disables LCD backlight; ? will
return the current setting on DLX
and CSeries printers.
Comments When using this command, send it to the printer
with VARIABLE WRITE in a non-printing label
format. Do not use this command in stored label
formats.
Example The format below will enable the LCD backlight.
