(cont.) T O ADJUST THE POSITION OF THE PAGE IMAGE :
1. If not logged into the printer control panel, enter a valid
administrator password ( see page 6-2 ).
2. Press the Menu button forward until the
TROY SETTINGS MENU
appears
(MICR 4100 control panel shown here).
3. For horizontal page image position adjustments, press the Item
button forward until
PAGE ADJUST X, DECIPOINTS +0
appears. For
vertical page image position adjustments, press the Item button
forward until
PAGE ADJUST Y, DECIPOINTS +0 appears.
4. Press the Value button forward or backward to select the desired
decipoint offset value (-720 to +720). Each decipoint is equal to
1/720th of an inch.
5. Press the Select button to enter the decipoint selection. Repeat steps three and four until all desired decipoint
offset values have been entered.
6. Print a test page to evaluate the page image position adjustment. Repeat the adjustment as necessary. Use the
TROY MICR Document Template to verify all page image adjustments.
