An Ohaus TP, TS, GT or CT Series precision balance may be used as the sample
scale for parts counting. Any of these balances will provide the I150 with accurate
sample weights for calculating average piece weight.

The following wiring diagram shows possible RS-232 connections for a sample scale,
I150 and optional printer or computer. The only required connections are between the
I150 and sample scale. Since the I150 transmitter and sample scale receiver are not
required, they may be used with a printer, computer or other peripheral device as
shown in the diagram.

If a printer or computer is used, parts count data may be output by the I150 using the
autoprint feature or by pressing the PRINT button. Data will be output in the format
described under “Output Formats” in the RS-232 section of this manual.
