The calibration submenu is used for two purposes: To view the applied load as a
percentage of maximum (for adjusting the indicator’s zero offset potentiometers) and
to calibrate the indicator.

Dead Load
Dead Load causes the current load on the
platform to be displayed as a percentage
of maximum. This is used when making
adjustments to the load cell zero offset
potentiometers.
When you select “d.Load” from the Cali-
bration submenu:
1.
The current setting will be displayed.
With no load on the load receiver, it
should be between 1% and 5%. The
percent indicator (%) will be on.
2.
If the value is not between 1% and
5%, it must be adjusted using the
following Zero Adjustment procedure.
