Field Description
This action is also possible later on from the Send to option
in the contextual menu of the Database Explorer or Control
Panel.
Publish To
User groups to which the clip can be published, i.e. made
available.
Select the user groups to which the clips should be
published.
The Clip Information pane also displays the IN point, OUT point and duration of
the clip as read-only information. These timecode values can only be changed in
the Clip Creation pane of the Control Panel.
The Clip Metadata pane contains the following fields:

Clip Profile
Drop-down list in which the user can select a clip
profile other than the current one. The selected clip
profile will be applied to the new clip.
By default, the current clip profile specified in the
menu Metadata > Edit Current Default Metadata, is
automatically applied with its fields and default
values to each new clip.
Clip Profile fields
Fields belonging to the Clip Profile are displayed in
the Clip Profile drop-down list.
The user can modify the values of the clip profile
fields. The modifications will only apply to the clip
and not impact the default values of the profile.
You will find in the next sections a more detailed description of the fields specific
to the Save Clip window. The fields that are common to the Save Clip window and
to the Clip Information tab are explained in the section 4.8 “Clip Information Tab”,
on page 51.

OCATION
The user can enter a valid and free location, i.e. LSM ID, where the clip should be
stored.
If the specified LSM ID is not free, the clip will not be created and an error
message will be displayed in the message bar. This also means the user will have
to redefine all IN, OUT and other metadata fields again.
If no number is entered, the clip will be stored in the next available location on the
page designated for IP Director clips in the XT setup.
