CREEN ELEMENTS AND FUNCTIONS
The VTR Control Panel screen elements and functions are described below.

EVICE BAR
The Device bar shows which device is linked to the VTR Control Panel.
A different device can be selected by right-clicking the Device bar and selecting
the device in the list that appears.

ODE SELECTOR
The Mode selector
shows the current state of the window.
By clicking the top right button, the VTR Control Panel expands to Auto-edit
mode.
By clicking the bottom button, the VTR Control Panel expands to Batch list mode.
T
IME CODE FIELD
The time code field shows the current position of the tape.
The tape can be cued to a defined timecode by entering a value directly in this
field and pressing [enter].
P
REROLL FIELD
The Preroll value defines how far the tape will rewind ahead of the Mark IN point
before it starts to play. This allows the VTR to spin up and be at operating speed
by the time the Mark IN is reached. This preroll value may have to be adjusted in
consideration of the type of VTR being used.
The Preroll for the VTR value can be changed manually by entering numbers in
this field.

OG BAR
The Jog bar controls the tape speed.
