Recording

Now you can record a new song.
The VIMA enters recording-standby mode.
If you decide not to record, press the [
REC] button once again.
You can’t record while the “Player” setting screen (p. 114) is displayed.
Start Recording

Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
After a two-measure count, recording will begin.
Even if you don’t press the [PLAY/STOP] button, recording will start when you play the keyboard.
In this case, no count will sound.
When recording begins, the indicators for the [PLAY/STOP] button and [
REC] button will light.
Stop Recording
5.
Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
Recording stops.
Listen to the Performance You Recorded

Press the [
] button, and then press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
The recorded performance begins playing.
7.
Press the [PLAY/STOP] button once again to stop the playback.
Your recorded performance will disappear when you turn off the power. If you want to
keep your recorded performance, save it in “Favorites.” Refer to “Saving a Recorded
Song in “Favorites”” (p. 102).
When you press the [
REC] button, the “Play mode” setting (p. 115) will
automatically be set to “One Song.”
