Recording
Recording Settings
4.
Press the [ REC] button.
The following screen appears.

This setting lets you record while listening to the selected song.
The VIMA enters recording-standby mode.
If you decide not to record, press the [
REC] button once again.
When you press the [
REC] button, the “Play mode” setting (p. 115) will
automatically be set to “One Song.”
Start Recording

Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
After a two-measure count, recording begins.
Even if you don’t press the [PLAY/STOP] button, recording will start when you play the keyboard.
In this case, no count will sound.
When recording begins, the indicators of the [PLAY/STOP] button and [
REC] button will light.
Stop Recording
7.
Press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
Recording stops.
Listen to the Recorded Performance
8.
Press the [
] button, and then press the [PLAY/STOP] button.
The recorded performance starts playing.
9.
Press the [PLAY/STOP] button once again to stop playback.
Your recorded performance will disappear when you turn off the power. If you want to
keep your recorded performance, save it in “Favorites.” Refer to “Saving a Recorded
Song in “Favorites”” (p. 102).
