The “Melody Guide” function lets you decrease the volume of the melody of an internal
song or SMF music files.
Until you’ve learned the melody, you can listen to the melody at a lower volume while
you practice playing it yourself. When you’ve learned the melody, you can use the
Melody Mute function (p. 94) to completely mute the melody and play it all by yourself.
The Melody Guide function won’t work with a music CD.
