Names of Things and What They Do
These connectors are located at the rear of the bottom
panel.
SPEAKER connector
Plug the speaker cable of the dedicated stand into this
connector (p. 27).
USB connector
You can connect this to your computer for transferring
performance data (p. 137).
ANALOG RGB OUT connector
Connect an external display here and use it to view the
output image (p. 31).
VIDEO OUTPUT VIDEO jack
S-VIDEO connectors
Connect a television here and use it to view the output
image (p. 30).
VIDEO INPUT CAM 1/CAM 2 connectors
Connect video cameras or digital cameras to these jacks
(p. 68).
EXPRESSION jack
You can connect a separately available expression
pedal (e.g., EV-7) to this jack and use it to add
expression to the sound (p. 93).
PEDAL connector
Connect the pedal cord of the dedicated stand to this
connector (p. 26).
AUDIO OUTPUT L/R jacks
You can connect external speakers here to reproduce the
VIMA’s sound (p. 134).
AC INLET
Connect the included power cord here (p. 24).
