If you decide not to format the USB memory, touch .

Formatting begins.
When formatting is complete, you’re returned to the previous screen.
Never turn off the power while the screen indicates . Doing so will
destroy the USB memory, rendering it unusable.
Don’t remove the USB memory until formatting is completed.
If the screen indicates “Error,” refer to the “Error Messages” (p. 145).
This operation will not initialize any settings other than the contents of USB memory. If
you want to return settings other than the contents of USB memory to the factory-set
state, please execute Factory Reset (p. 130) and Initializing User Memory (p. 131).
