Saving Your Performance

Touch .

A screen like the following appears.
This screen lets you rename the song you’ve recorded.

If you don’t want to rename the song, proceed to step 6.

Touch

to move the cursor.

Enter the desired text.

Touch the icon for the character you want to enter, and that character will appear at the
position of the cursor.
For example, each time you touch the icon, the character to be entered will cycle
in the order of A

...

Touching < A–a–0–! > cycles you through the available selections for the character type,
in this order: “Uppercase letters,” “Lowercase letters,” “Numerals,” “Symbols.”
You can touch (Delete) to delete the character at the cursor position.
You can touch (Insert) to insert a space at the cursor position.

6.

When you’ve finished editing the name, press the [EXIT] button.

Your song will be saved in “Favorites” under the name you edited.
To select songs saved in “Favorites,” touch

(Favorites) in the main screen and turn

the [SELECT] knob.

Never turn off the power while the screen indicates . Doing so will damage
the internal memory and render it unusable.

You can restore the songs and performances in “Favorites” to the factory-set condition.
Refer to “Initializing User Memory (Format User Memory)” (p. 131).
