Saving Your Performance
You can copy a song from USB memory or CD-ROM to “Favorites” (p. 44).
If you’ve copied a song from CD-ROM or USB memory to “Favorites,” you’ll be able to
play that song without having to insert the CD-ROM in the CD tray or connect the USB
memory to the external memory connector. Since you can also copy internal songs to
“Favorites,” you will find it convenient to copy songs that you listen to frequently.
Songs copied to “Favorites” will not disappear even if you turn off the power.
You can’t copy music CD songs to “Favorites.”

Make preparations for copying.
If you’re copying a song from USB memory, connect it to the external memory connector.
If you’re copying a song from CD-ROM, place the CD-ROM in the CD drive.

Access the main screen.
If the main screen is not shown, press the [EXIT] button several times to access the main screen.

Select the song that you want to copy to “Favorites.”
If you want to copy a song from USB memory, touch
(Ext Memory) in the main
screen. If you want to copy a song from CD-ROM, touch
(CD) in the main screen.
The song list will appear in the main screen.
