Enjoying Music and Video with the VIMA
If you’re playing an internal song or SMF music files that contains lyrics, you can view
the lyrics on an external display or television. You can view the lyrics against the
background of an image shown from a video camera or DVD player connected to the
VIMA. The notation screen will show the notation with the lyrics.

Select the song that you want to play (p. 35, p. 38, p. 42, p. 46).
Songs with lyrics are indicated by a
symbol beside the song name.

Press the [LYRICS] button so its indicator is lit.
3.
Press the [PLAY/STOP] button to play back the song.
The lyrics appear in the external display or television.

Lyrics won’t be displayed if all of the video function select buttons are not lighted (video
function is off).
Turning off the Lyrics Display
1.
Press the [LYRICS] button once again so its indicator goes out.
Lyrics cannot be displayed for a music CD.
