Enjoying Music and Video with the VIMA
You can connect an external display or a television to the VIMA, and use it to watch the
piano roll screen, a slide show, a notation, or video from another device connected to
the VIMA.

You can perform with a background image from your video
camera. For example, you could perform in front of a big-
screen image of yourself performing, or a family video you
shot using your video camera.

It’s easy to switch between video source devices connected to the
VIMA. You can create the perfect atmosphere by switching images
as appropriate for the song you’re playing or performing.
Perform with a background video from a DVD player

You can connect your DVD player, display the DVD video on a
television or an external display connected to the VIMA, and
listen to the music or narration from the VIMA’s speakers. You can
also cancel the sound of the DVD and perform to the background
of the DVD video.
Perform while watching the notation

Internal songs, SMF music files, or songs you’ve recorded on the
VIMA can be viewed as a notation, allowing you to play while
watching the notation, or verify songs you’ve recorded. The
notation can also be shown on a television or an external display
screen, so everyone can sing along with the music that’s shown
on the big screen.
