Turning Ringtone Alerts On and Off

To play a Ringtone alert:
1 Select the Ringtones application from the Home screen.
2 Highlight the basic alert, application alert, or system alert that you want to sample.
3 Select the Play alert button from the toolbar. After a few moments, the Ringtone alert
plays.
TIP You can play alerts in Ringtones without turning them on. However, to activate alerts so
that they are available in other applications, you must turn them on.

When you compose a new alert, or receive a custom alert from another Accompli 009, it is
automatically installed in Ringtones with an alert status of OFF. To use the alert as an alert,
you must first turn it ON in Ringtones.
To conserve memory, you should turn OFF unused alerts. Turning OFF an alert does not
remove it from the device. The alert can be turned back on at any time.
To turn a Ringtone alert on or off:
1 Select the Ringtones application from the Home screen.
2 Highlight the name of the alert.
3 Select the Turn on/off button from the toolbar to toggle the state of the alert. Alerts that
are on are marked with a double note icon.
