Maintenance Unit Needed Soon
This message indicates that the maintenance unit is near the end of its service life. You can continue to
print until the Replace Maintenance Unit message appears.
Manual Feed ssss
The manual feed mode is specified for the current print job. Make sure the paper size indicated by
ssss
is loaded, then press the Start button.
Memory Overflow
The printer has insufficient memory to execute the current task. Select Close to resume printing, or
press the Stop button to cancel the print job.
Non-Genuine Toner Cartridge
The installed toner cartridge is not a genuine Epson product. Installing a genuine toner cartridge is
recommended. The printout and remaining service life of the toner cartridge displayed n the control
panel may be different from those when using genuine Epson toner cartridge. Epson shall not be liable
for any damages or problems arising from the use of consumable products not manufactured or
approved by Epson.
Install a genuine Epson product, or select Clear Warning or Clear All Warnings from Reset
Menu
in the Setup menu’s Common Settings to clear the warning message. See “Toner Cartridge/
Return Toner Cartridge” on page 280 for instructions on replacing the toner cartridge.
Not Input Please Enter
Nothing is entered for the setting. Enter a value for the setting.
Optional RAM Error
The optional memory module may be corrupted or incorrect. Replace it with a new one.
Paper for Printing Faxes Not Loaded
Replace the loaded paper with paper that the fax can be printed on. For details, see “Output paper size”
on page 129.
