Adding new users

Adding new users
New users are identified by the email they use to log in to the GV STRATUS Playout. By
default a new user is assigned to the Guest user group, which restricts their access to many
pages and buttons.
To add a new user:
1 In the top menu, click Settings.
2 Click the User Administration tab.
3 Click New User.
4 In the Enter user email address field, type the email address for the user.
5 Click Create. The new user is highlighted in the Users list.
6 In the User Details section, enter the following:
• In the Name field, type the name of the user.
• In the Contact Number field, type a phone number where the user can be reached.
• In the Member of Group list, click the user group to which you want the user to be
assigned. The Guest group is assigned by default, but it can be changed to any
available user group.
7 Click Update User.
