Adds a placeholder as a primary
event to the schedule for a live
feed supplied by a router

connected to both the SDI A and
SDI B inputs on the associated
device’s SSP-3801 card.

To choose the router source for
the live feed:

1 In the schedule grid, click the
Source event you created.

2 In the

Event Details

pane, click

the

Details 1

tab.

3 Under

Router Source

, click the

Src

button to select the router

source. Click the router source and
click

Select

.

4 Click

Update Event

Still

Adds a full-screen static image as a
primary event to the schedule.

Note: Stills, logos, and Easytext
templates require the use of a
hardware-based store in order to
function. Since the card only has
two hardware-based stores
available, only two events of these
types can play at the same time.

To choose the media file:

1 Perform a search using one of
the following:
• In the

Search Any

field in the

Select Media

dialog box, type

the keywords that will identify
the file. Keywords can be part of
the name of the file you are
searching for or other metadata
associated with the file when it
was registered as an asset.

• In the

Begins With

field, type the

beginning of the file name you
are searching for to display only
the files containing those
characters in the beginning of
their filename.

2 In the list of results, click the
desired file.

3 Click

Select

Comment

Adds a row containing a comment
into the schedule grid.

The inserted comment has no
affect in the timing of the
schedule. It can be used to provide
information to operators or to
divide the schedule into sections.

To add a comment:

1 In the

Enter Comment

field in

the

Create Comment

dialog box,

type the comment that you want
to add to the schedule.
