The Event Details pane is divided into tabs:
• Details 1: contains the specific properties for the event type.
• Details 2: contains the common properties for the event types.
• Proxy: contains the proxy media file for the selected Clip event, if it is available.
• Assigned Channels: contains a list of the channels to which the schedule is appended.
To edit the details of a primary event:
1 In the top menu, click Schedule Edit.
2 In the left pane, click the schedule you want to edit. To filter the names, click Contains
at the top of the column and type the text or characters you want to use in the filter.
3 In the schedule grid, click the primary event that you want to edit.
4 In the Event Details pane, click the Details 1 tab and edit any of the following as
required depending on the type of event selected:

Procedure
ID
Displays the Event ID or replaces the asset in the event with another
asset of the same type, except Live and Source events. Live events
can be replaced with Clip events. Source events cannot be replaced
using the ID button.
To replace the event:
1 Click the
ID
button.
2 Perform a search using one of the following:
• In the
Search Any
field in the
Select Media
dialog box, type the
keywords that will identify the file. Keywords can be part of the
name of the asset you are searching for or other metadata
associated with it when it was registered.
• In the
Begins With
field, type the beginning of the file name you are
searching for to display only the files containing those characters in
the beginning of their filename.
3 In the list of results, click the desired file.
4 Click
Select
.
5 Click one of the following as required:
•
Confirm Replace
: to replace the asset in the selected event with
the newly selected asset.
•
All occurrences in this schedule
: to replace the asset in all
instances of the event in the schedule with the newly selected asset.
Note: The All occurrences in this schedule option is not supported for
replacing a Live event with a Clip event.
Title
(All types)
Type a new title for the primary event.
The title appears in the schedule grid in the Title column.
Note: If the field is empty when the asset is updated, then the event is
updated with the title from the asset. Once the title is set for the
event, changes to the asset’s title will not cause an update to the
event’s title even when Hold Points is disabled (grey).
