Viewing transmission error logs (TX Error Logs)

To review logs:
1 In the top menu, click Logging.
2 In the left pane, click User Logs.
3 Open the log using one of the following options:
• To view the log for the current date, click Get Current Log.
• To view the log for a specific date, click the date field to open the calendar, click the
date that you want to view, and then click Get Selected Log.
Viewing transmission error logs (TX Error Logs)
The TX Error Logs tab, available from the Logging page, allows you to display the
transmission errors logged in the account on a specified date. A transmission error occurs
when a channel encounters an off-air situation. The TX Error Log pane contains a table of
each transmission error on the selected date. The following columns are of particular use
when investigating an error.
• Time: displays the time the transmission error occurred on the selected date.
• Client: displays the name of the device on which the transmission error occurred.
• Message: displays one of the following descriptions as the cause of the transmission
error:
• on air item failed
• not ready at on air point
• item duration difference
• item skipped
• item failed
• item dropped
• Details: contains details about the transmission error such as the listing the schedule
that contained the event that went off air and the asset that was associated with the
event.
