6 If desired, you can modify other details for the events inserted into the schedule. To
modify the details, see Editing Event Details for secondary events , on page 117.
Editing Event Details for secondary events
The Event Details pane contains the properties for the event. The properties shown in the
Event Details pane change depending on the type of secondary event selected.
Modifications made to the properties are only applied to the event once the Update Event
button is clicked. To discard the modifications, click elsewhere in the schedule grid without
clicking the Update Event button.
The Event Details pane is divided into these tabs:
VANC Adds a Vertical Ancillary Data
Space (VANC) file that embeds
data in a video event, which is not
displayed within the screen’s
viewing area. To choose the media file:
1 Perform a search using one of
the following:
• In the
Search Any field in the
Select Media dialog box, type
the keywords that will identify
the file. Keywords can be part of
the name of the file you are
searching for or other metadata
associated with the file when it
was registered as an asset.
• In the Begins With field, type the
beginning of the file name you
are searching for to display only
the files containing those
characters in the beginning of
their filename.
2 In the list of results, click the
desired file.
3 Click Select .
Software Schedules an SSP-3801 card
software upgrade. When the
upgrade process is completed, the
card will reboot itself and interrupt
the playout. To choose the file:
