Locally Replaced
(All types)
Displays whether the event can be overwritten when an updated
schedule is imported.
When the lozenge is green,
Locally Replaced
is enabled. This
indicates that the asset in the event has been manually replaced and
the event will not be updated when an updated schedule is
imported.
Hold Points
(All types)
Displays whether the event’s in point and duration can be
overwritten by changes to the asset’s in point and duration or not.
When the lozenge is green,
Hold Points
is enabled. This indicates
that the In Point, Out Point or the Duration field for the event have
been manually modified and the event will not be updated when an
updated asset is registered.
In Point
(Clip)
Type the timecode for the first frame of the video that should be seen
on screen relative to the clip start timecode. If the In Point and Out
Point times are both 00:00:00, the entire media file plays.
If the Start of Media (SOM) was provided when the asset was
registered, the timecode entered as the In Point for the event is
validated against the SOM timecode to ensure that it is within the
valid range of the media. When an invalid timecode is entered, the
field is highlighted in red and you will not be able to save the change
to the event. If the SOM was not registered, validation is not
performed.
Note: Incorrect drop-frame timecodes are automatically rounded up
to the next valid drop-frame timecode value; for example, 00:01:00;00
would be rounded up to 00:01:00;02.
Out Point
(Clip)
Type the timecode for the last frame of the video that should be
displayed on screen relative to the clip start timecode. If the In Point
and Out Point times are both 00:00:00, the entire media file plays.
If the End of Media (EOM) was provided when the asset was
registered, the timecode entered as the Out Point is validated against
the EOM timecode to ensure that it is within the valid range of the
media. When an invalid timecode is entered, the field is highlighted
in red and you will not be able to save the change to the event. If the
EOM was not registered, validation is not performed.
Note: Incorrect drop-frame timecodes are automatically rounded up
to the next valid drop-frame timecode value; for example, 00:01:00;00
would be rounded up to 00:01:00;02.
