Working with Schedules
Editing Event Details for secondary events
Hold Points
(All types)
Displays whether the event’s in point and duration can be
overwritten by changes to the asset’s in point and duration or not.
When the lozenge is green,
Hold Points
is enabled. This indicates
that the In Point, Out Point or the Duration field for the event have
been manually modified and the event will not be updated when an
updated asset is registered.
Note: Hold Points does not apply to Easytext data sources. If the asset
is an Easytext template with User data sources that rely on the values
configured in the event, the data source names will be updated on
the Data Source tab when an updated schedule is imported even
when Hold Points is enabled.
Duration
(All types)
Type the total amount of time allocated for the
secondary
event to
play.
Note: Incorrect drop-frame timecodes are automatically rounded up
to the next valid drop-frame timecode value; for example, 00:01:00;00
would be rounded up to 00:01:00;02.
In Duration
(Logo, Easytext,
Graphic)
Type the time period of the transition over which the secondary
event comes into full effect as the event begins; for example, the
amount of time for a logo to fully appear.
Out Duration
(Logo, Easytext,
Graphic)
Type the time period of the transition over which the secondary
event disappears as the event ends; for example, the amount of time
for a logo to fully disappear.
