Tap the
CHANGE VIEW
soft key to toggle the data field
windows on and off.

Tap the
Direct To
soft key to display the virtual keyboard to
select a new waypoint. When the OK button is pressed, a
magenta line shows on the Compass Rose that is aligns with the
direct to course to the selected waypoint as shown in the figure
below.

Tap the Zoom in “

” or the Zoom out “

“ hard keys to decrease or
increase the range (
RNG)
value.

COMPASS ROSE
The compass rose always shows in track up mode.
The aircraft symbol shows as a gray delta triangle in the center
of the compass rose.
A digital readout of the track shows above the compass rose.
When the track is invalid, the aircraft symbol changes to a cross
hair symbol and the digital readout shows dashes to indicate that
valid data is not being received.
RATE OF TURN
The Rate of Turn indicator has a symbolic aircraft in the center
and left and right turn rate scales. The scales have tick marks at
0 and 2 minute turn rates. The symbolic aircraft is oriented to
reflect the calculated rate of turn so that the wing tips align with
