This command configures the forwarding database address aging timeout in seconds.
The
parameter must be within the range of 10 to 1,000,000 seconds.

This command displays the timeout for address aging. In an IVL system, the [fdbid |
all] parameter is required.

Forwarding DB ID Fdbid (Forwarding database ID) indicates the forwarding data-
base whose aging timeout is to be shown. The all option is used to dis-
play the aging timeouts associated with all forwarding databases. This
field displays the forwarding database ID in an IVL system.
Agetime
In an IVL system, this parameter displays the address aging timeout
for the associated forwarding database.

show mac-address-table multicast
This command displays the Multicast Forwarding Database (MFDB) information. If
you enter the command with no parameter, the entire table is displayed. You can
display the table entry for one MAC Address by specifying the MAC address as an
optional parameter.

MAC Address A multicast MAC address for which the switch has forwarding and or
filtering information. The format is two-digit hexadecimal numbers
separated by colons, for example 01:23:45:67:89:AB. In an IVL sys-
tem the MAC address will be displayed as a MAC address and VLAN
ID combination of 8 bytes.
Type
The type of the entry. Static entries are those that are configured by the
end user. Dynamic entries are added to the table as a result of a learn-
ing process or protocol.
