4.1.9 Cash Upgrades (Options) Menu
This sub-menu is used to configure the cash upgrade or buy up capabilities of your system. It
contains three sub-menu items:
• Set BUYUP Mode
• Set Coin/Bill Values
• Set Dispense Value
• Set Dispense Mode (E-systems 4000 only)
To execute one of the sub-menu commands, first select "Cash Upgrades MENU->" from the
SYSTEM SETUP menu. Next, scroll through the sub-menu until the command of interest is
displayed and then press the [ENTER] key.

B U Y U P
M o d e
This command is used to enable or disable buy up capability at the entrance of the carwash. To
select this command, scroll through the Cash Upgrades sub-menu until "Set BUYUP Mode"
appears and then press [ENTER].
There are two buy up modes that are generally available:
0: No upgrade/upgrade capability
1: Automatic by price
In addition for E-systems 4000 units :
2: Forced selection
If your carwash supports other modes, those options will appear as choices when the command
is executed.
Example to disable buy ups:

Note:
The default buy up mode depends upon the carwash your POS4000 is configured to
operate with.
