3 Set flow rate to 2 mL/min

• Double-click the 790 icon in the system window to open the

window for manual control of the 790 Personal IC (see be-

low).

• Set the flow rate to

2 mL/min

in the

Flow

field.

• Click to

to send this value to the 790 Personal

IC.

4 Deaerate pump

• Make sure that the 6.1834.010 aspirating tubing for the high-

pressure pump has been immersed into the eluent.

• Click the

button for

IC pump

to switch on the high-

pressure pump.

• Use the syringe connected to the purge valve 31 to aspirate

air until eluent flows into the syringe.

• Click the

button for

IC pump

to switch off the high-

pressure pump.
