2 Installation

• Insert the cable permanently attached to the detector block

3 Connect detector block

• Plug the gray connecting cable permanently attached to the

detector block 38

790 Personal IC and fasten to the instrument by tightening

the screws in the cable connector (see Fig. 2).

4 Connect waste container

• Lead the outlet capillary of the detector block 38

38 to a suffi-

ciently large waste container and fix in place.

Connection of syringe and aspirating tubing

For manual filling of the sample loop 22

22 mounted on the injection valve,

the 6.2816.020 Syringe, the syringe tubing 25

25 with coupling 24

24 and the

PTFE aspirating tubing 23

23 are needed. These accessories are mounted

as follows:

1 Connect syringe to syringe tubing

• Pull syringe tubing 25

25 connected to injection valve 22

hand out of feedthrough 3

• Mount a PEEK compression fitting 46

the end of the syringe tubing 25

2 Install aspirating tubing

Connection of the 6.5324.000 Bottle rack (option)

The optional available 6.5324.000 Bottle rack for supply vessels can be

placed on top of the 790 Personal IC. The accessories include the sup-

ply vessels for eluent (2 L), regeneration solution (1 L) and rinsing solu-

tion (1 L).
