12 Diagnostics
For purposes of fault diagnostics, the communication module is provided with the LEDs on the front.
Furthermore you can carry out the Diagnosing with the »Engineer« ( 81) .
12.1 LED status displays
The following status displays are distinguished:
• Module status displays ( 78)
• Fieldbus status displays ( 79)
• Status displays at X241 and X242 ( 80)

Note!
During normal operation ...
• only the LEDs MS ( 78) and BS ( 79) should be lit permanently.
• the green LEDs on the RJ45 sockets X241 and X242 must be lit or blinking ( 79) .
