- The function of [Acquire Device Information] is available only when your computer is connected to and
can communicate with the machine.
To use [Acquire Device Information] , in [Administrator Settings] of the machine, set [System Connec-
tion] - [OpenAPI Settings] - [Authentication] to [OFF]. For details, refer to page 13-52.
- Items that can be specified vary depending on the selected [Copy Security] function.

Function Name Description
[Angle] Specify the pattern angle.
[Text Size] Specify the text size of a pattern.
[Adjust Density] Specify the density or contrast of a pattern.
[Pattern Overwrite] Specify the sequence for printing a pattern on top of the original.
[Background Pattern] Specify the background pattern.
[Pattern] Specify the embedding method of a pattern.
Function Name Description
[Format] Displays the format of the date and time to be printed. Click [Edit...] to
specify the display type and presence or absence of the time display.
[Pages] Specify the pages to print the date and time.
[Print Position] Specify the print position.
[Starting Page] Specify the page to start printing the page number.
[Starting Page Number] Specify the start number for printing the page number.
