Recording on a tape cannot be performed normally
When trying to record on a tape, the message
[Couldn’t secure bandwidth for IEEE1394 bus....]
appeared.
• The personal computer is in unstable condition. Exit
MotionDV STUDIO, and then reboot the personal
computer.
When a still image clip is placed on the edit track
and recorded, the images in the relevant part
have extended.
• If you place a still image clip with an aspect ratio
other than 4:3, black strips are usually displayed
vertically and horizontally. However, if you right-click
any image on the edit track and uncheck [Set
length-width ratio for still images to fixed] when you
place still images, the images are forcibly enlarged
(reduced) to 4:3, they may be extended vertically or
horizontally.
To prevent this phenomenon, right-click the placed
still image clip and check [Set length-width ratio for
still images to fixed] and then record on a tape.
During recording, video is distorted and cannot
be recorded normally.
• Exit MotionDV STUDIO, and then reboot the
personal computer. (For the procedure of rebooting,
refer to the Operating Instructions for the personal
computer.)
• If you use other application software during
recording, phenomena such as video distortions
may occur and interfere with normal recording.
Before using the MotionDV STUDIO, exit any other
operating applications and the resident
programmes.
• Activating the power-saving feature may also
interfere with recording. Turn it off in advance.
• If the personal computer used is connected with a
networking device such as a router or wireless LAN
or a USB device, correct recording sometimes
cannot be made.
In this case, disconnect such devices from the
personal computer.
